Countervailing trade barriers (initiation)

Use Your Default Country

Countervailing measures have been sourced from the semi-annual reports under article 16.4 of the agreement, starting with the July-December 2000 report; therefore, the information currently accessible covers all definitive measures in force as of the end of that period and thereafter but does not cover measures that ended before that period. Countervailing measures are actions taken by the importing country, usually in the form of increased duties to offset subsidies given to producers or exporters in the exporting country.
